At the 3-star Camping Le Chauvieux in Salavas, located just 1 km from Vallon Pont d’Arc, we offer 82 large pitches with a surface area of 80 to 100 m².

The campsite pitches are bordered on 2 sides by laurel hedges, plane trees and acacias, and are perfect for a holiday in the great outdoors surrounded by greenery and with plenty of shade from the bright southern Ardèche sunshine.

Every pitch on the campsite not only has a 10 amp electrical connection, but also a water point with a private sink or a sink shared with the neighbouring pitch.

This is a bonus which our campers always appreciate!

Shower cabins with shower mixers: you can fix your ideal temperature
Sinks cabins with mixer taps
Family shower & nursery area
Inside and outside big sinks for dishes, sinks for laundry and a washing machine
A place reserved for the disabled people

At the reception, we are at your disposal

Low and medium season: 9.00am to noon and from 2.00pm to 6.00pm
High season: 9.00am to 7.00pm

Pets are allowed under certain conditions

Dogs must be kept on a lead
IMPORTANT: due to the family nature of the campsite, category 1 and 2 dogs are not allowed

Driving in the campsite is forbidden

Low and mid season: from 10.00pm to 8.00am
High season: from 11.00pm to 7.30am

“ Found this site on the Internet. We originally planned to stay 2/3 nights but ended up staying a week. The site was well organised. Each plot having shade and its own sink with water. Really handy. The pool was great and very welcome in the very warm weather (35c). Toilets and showers cleaned regularly. We had bikes and cycled up into town (took about 10 mins). The river was just a short walk away from the site. There is a restaurant and bar and a small shop. We didn't actually eat there but had drinks at the bar and the prices were really reasonable. When we went in June - they had an offer on - 15€ per night including electricity. I would not hesitate to recommend this site and should we ever return to Vallon Pont D'Arc we would definitely go back to this site. (See less...) ”
